Snake Barbecue plus Mouse

2/12/2009

ATT000041ATT000072 ATT000134  ATT000165Got this in a email today and thought I would share it with you. From the email a electrician line man found this snake fried to the meter box the snake darted after a mouse and grounded both of them out. I can stand either snakes or mice having to deal with them all the time at work. What a shocking good time!

Huzzaaaaaa!!!!!!

2/10/2009

Roger Wow holy cow! It works it works hahahahahaha!!! I've been beating my head into the screen trying to find a program like this and it works on so many different levels of blogging.

I will name some of Windows Live Writer awesome features after you start WLW up you can add your blog it will log on your account and and fetch your blog template so you can see what your post will look like while you are making it  WOW! Add photos, films links it is amazing! Cool feature’s, you know when you are uploading a photo to blogger and it is to big or to small, or you can not put it in the right place inline, to the side and you end up fighting it? Well WLW you can put the a photo anywhere you like. Also you can put a background shadow behind the photo and all kinds of cool frames. Like the instant photo frame that I have on photo here. It is so easy to use, did I mention this is a free program from Windows. I hope Google includes this post in there search engines so nobody has to learn the hard way like I did. If I peek your curiosity, here is the link to this awesome program, info and download.

OK it is Reality

2/08/2009
Ok I have killed enough time trying to get microsoft word to post automatically to my blogs. The thing is it will do this, but it will not add a photograph or picture. I messed around and messed around until a entire night and a day passed by.
Saturday I went fly fishing no fish but I did catch a cold! Not feeling good at all!
Virginia of Small Reflections awarded me the Premio Dardos award! This is the award deatails...

Aline of No Mundo de Aline and Akelamalu of Everything and Nothing each passed along this Premio Dardos award a while back. I apologize for taking so long to acknowledge and share it with others, but I'm most appreciative of the recognition ... so here's a BIG THANK YOU to Aline and Akelamalu!

Aline received it from Dave Funk and Akelamalu from San at A Life with a View ...
Aline wrote about the significance of the prize:
"With the Premio Dardos is to recognize the values that each blogger uses to transmit cultural values, ethical, literary, personal, etc.. that, in short, demonstrate their creativity through the thought that is alive and remains intact from their letters, between his words. These stamps were created with the intention of promoting fraternization between bloggers, a way of showing affection and gratitude for a job that adds value to the Web. "
The rules for receiving the prize are:
1) View the image of the stamp;
2) Link the blog for which you received the alert;
3) Choose 12 other blogs to those who deliver the Premio Dardos.
4) And tell everyone, of course!
I'd like to acknowledge the following 12 bloggers and share this award specifically with them today.
On a Limb with Claudia
Dianne at Forks off the Moment
Ivanhoe - From Ohio With Love
Karen of Journey to Authenticity
Kay of Musings in Hawaii
Jo of Teacher Says
Joyce of Mom's Musings
Mary of Work of the Poet
Robin at Around the Island
Roger at Idaho Photo
Sandee of Comedy Plus
Sylvia From over the Hill
Thank you Virginia! I am going to try to keep track of all my awards here on the RueHooligan from this day forward.
Have a great week!

What's Up with Me

1/17/2009
Made up a new batch of badges for Creative Photography.

I made a couple for Nikon users and Canon users, digital guru's as well old camera photo badges and there will be more to come. I get more excited about making them, than anybody will care about, but it would make my day if someone uses one.

The Weather here Sheeeeese!
I know, I know, I am moping about it, friends out East have it so much worst than we do, there in the negatives of degrees. When I lived in Michigan I remember those cold cold days that would never end. I also remember living in Tampa Bay Florida though a couple of winters, that was so much better. Florida is great but don't think I would like to live there permanently.

This kind of weather we are having here in Idaho is called a inversion trapping the cold air close to the ground causing day long fog and black slippery ice to form. Busted my knee slipping on the black ice and messed it up good, it is starting to feel better now and I can start thinking about going ice fishing!

Bad thing about this dense fog as it is no good for photo taking, taking photos around the house is a bummer. Some people are extremely good at this, taking photos of "FOOD" I say food like that because they always look so good they make me hungry (stomach rumbling). I can always take photos of the Neighbors Cat or cat's they have hundreds running around but only one that comes over here. I think she kicks the other cats butts so she can get some decent food over here without being bothered.

Time to turn in, will being dreaming of warm beaches and girls in grass skirts!
